IF YOUR NOT LEARNING MORE, YOU DON'T KNOW ENOUGH. I have made it my business to emerge myself further into become still yet more knowledgeable about styling. I have a indescribable desire to learn more, know more, and most importantly be more. Ive decided to pay even closer attention to the details in editorials. identifying themes and direction, and discovering more designers. This isn't work, or research for me, oddly its fun and its how I intend on spending a great deal of my free time. Progression, determination, and belief.( I came across this editoral for ADIDAS, and said to myself this is A. Hot, B. Crazy.)

INSPIRING. I absolutely love when I come across other young designers, artists, stylists, etc. doing their thing. Its not only a positive motivation but its also essential to the longevity of the fashion industry. This is a picture from BROOKLYN CIRCUS. They do have a blog, and it shows so much depth as far as their creative process, and individual styles and personalities. Stay tuned.

ODDS AND ENDS. ( COLLAR FREMONT, JACKET SOPHIE HULME)

IMAGINARY SHOPPING SPREE. These are few items I came across that I L.O.VE. They are assembled how I would wear them. I am really into prints right now. I think that will be my thing for the summer. Or for the next 20 mins until I change my mind. Deuces.(TEE SHIRT DKNY, SKIRT MARC JACOBS, SHADES AM EYEWEAR, SHOES MARNI)

I LIKE SHOES, THEY LIKE ME, THEY LOOK SO GOOD WITH MY SEVEN JEANS... This is not a shoe blog. I repeat this is not a shoe blog. However I post things that spark my interest. I cant control when, where, or why. That's the beauty of styling and fashion in general in my opinion. You never know when you will be inspired. These lace shoes are like orgasmic. I'm thinking they would be awesome in an editoral with a lace head piece over the eyes and a stratgetically placed nude model to emphasis the shoes. These Nike Gladiators are like a relationship. You stare at them everyday thinking of how to make the work. Here's how: Go un fussy. Bleached fitted jean jacket, white tank, khaki bermuda shorts, bag of choice. Sh*@ I'm good. ( LACE SHOES COPELLI APICQUI)

PEOPLE WATCHIN.... I love watching the revolving doors that is Fashion. Here are some random pics I'm diggin for random reasons. Usually Naomi looks rough around the edges to me, but her shoes...Yes. I like this look for Katy, not as I Love Lucy as usual. Dita is like a human oil painting, you wanna stare and analyze her for hours. Bon Apetit.

SIGHT SEEING. I took a much needed trip to Soho the other day, one of many stops that day. A random Tuesday is the best time to go shopping, and definitely the best time to avoid the chaos at Top shop. I purposely avoided going for weeks when it first opened because of the crowds. (Also because I am selfish and hate when things that are kind of secretive and exclusive become mainstream.) Anyway, I still was overwhelmed by the store merely because there was a whole lot to ingest, and I hope that doesn't end up working against them, in the effect that it intimidates people from shopping. I did get some really cool earrings though. I then proceeded to scoot on down to the BFF's job, ate, chatted. More shopping. I saw this really cool sculpture in the window display of the DIESEL STORE. That sparked something...I started paying unusually close attention to everything and everyone. Saw this really cool girl in the sale section of H&M. Her name is ISIS. What an eventful day... 6 hours late I had some stuff that made me happy. Some people work out I shop.

MY TRUE LOVE. This is Boldwhat I wait for. Large, glamorous, events that encourage the envelope to be not only pushed open but split at the seams. Every piece that is set down the runway is not necessarily a wearable piece, but I truly admire the creative process. Well all of my fellow fashionistas are probably posting their favorite looks of the night, and I have to do the same, purely because I have a lot of opinion about most things. There were a few standout looks, but overall I was having an Oscar moment. Why? The gala was entitled " MODELS TO MUSES", crediting the beautiful canvas' that bring life to the designs, yet I felt there was a lack of drama. This is the time to pull out all the stops.. couture archives anyone?? Styleordye rule #2. Dress for the occasion.

OUT AND ABOUT My apologies for being missing in action. I have had an overwhelming past week and a half. If you have not noticed a general theme on this blog( STYLING), you worry me. I recently styled a fashion show, and I am very pleased with how well I worked under the pressure, 8 models no assistance, and the finished product. I can't wait to see what will transpire with my next project. You will be posted.
