BREAK DOWN: BURBERRY. Though the color palette was very monochromatic, there was dept with the variation of textures. I loved how designer Christopher Bailey embodied the quintessential English girl. The boots were a excellent addition. I loved how they were paired with everything from pants, to more formal dresses, even though they were rugged.

LOUIS VUITTON. The rich gem tones. The stripper esque, victorian boots. The layers and textures. The bold accessories. The simply styled topknot hair. The peplums.

MARC JACOBS. There was a clear 80s influence, with a modern take. The details were interesting and subtle. ( The hanker chiefs around the neck coming through the slit neckline. )Always refreshing, Marc.

SMOOTH CRIMINAL. How funky fresh are these Ray-ban esqe, Tony Hawk chic, Ryan Scheckler approved Airwalk shades??? I have to stop picking up shades, but they are like the summer face glove. I LOVE THEM! Coming soon... My Oscar de la Renta shades that I nabbed for a mere $10!! Insert envy HERE. :)

COVETING. I love the fantasy behind the couture shows. Fantasy isn't the right word..Imagination. It proposes you be in another place, time, even world, and challenges you to make sense of it. ( Or not). No rules. This collection is from ELIE SAAB, known for Halle's infamous Oscar dress. This collection makes me think of Edie Sedgwick getting married on planet Krypton. It had a mod feel with the hair and make-up, but the silhouette were that of the chicest wedding dresses ever. I have at least 10 ideas of a wedding dress now... I know there are alot of pics, but I adored these looks.
