POSTING LIVE FROM THE E.R. I am usually pretty loyal to the designers that I know and love, mainly because they never cease to amaze me. ( i.e. Givenchy, Lanvin, Balenciaga..) However I am never opposed to a torrid affair with another fashion house that rips through town and steals my heart..( I wanted to be a writer at one point, and sometimes I go off track, my apologies;) Case in point, Fall 09 collection at Nina Ricci. I was was floored by the exuberance, the drama, and luxe feel of this collection. Every look said dark, demented glamour, in ways unseen before. Like a matured Wednesday Adams on her way to her prom and after party. Oliver Theyskens was saying one of two things: This is my last hooray, I'm going out with a bang! OR Kiss my grits! You'll be sorry you let me go. No need to look for the collection, I have posted damn near every look. Enjoy.

WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT. The hardest part of styling is accessing great clothing. I'm in the process of meeting new/great designers that will lend their art to my portfolio. In the mean time I will use the glorious pieces that are readily available for me via the internet. ( I have been shoe bananas lately, all I wanna look up are crazy hot shoes!)

BAREFOOT CONTESSA. I hardly post pics of myself, just because I always feel awkward and over critical of myself in pics. ( Even though I put on shades just to go to Rite-Aid). Why am I barefoot? I have no idea, but I did later put on some DSW shoes I got that look strikingly like Jimmy Choos. I heart my neon toes.

BOTANICAL BOUNTY. These luscious designs are by Indian designer Manish Arora, who is new to me I must admit. I would love to be able to go into the minds of certain designers during the design process. Not to steal ideas, but to see if the inside of their heads are as chaotic as mine.
